The hash plants found all across the Hindu Kush are classic Indicas – dark and compact, used mostly for sieved hashish. Nepali charas is hand-rubbed from plants, as in many parts of the Himalayas.

Like other strains from this vast, mountainous area, Nepali cannabis has been selected over generations for resin production, giving it a lusciously thick coating of sticky trichomes that can easily be collected from the surface of the buds.

Unlike other hash plants, Nepali ganja is tall and bushy, producing stems packed with alternating floral clusters. Temple Ball hash is one of several sought-after grades of charas made from this special cannabis family.
