Originating out of Oregon, this Sativa-dominant hybrid was created by breeding Trainwreck with an unknown purple strain of Cannabis. While Shipwreck is not the most potent medication (in terms of THC content) but it does provide an extremely medicinal effect. Most patients experience a powerful cerebral high with notable uplifting affects, accompanied by a much more subtle buzzing body high. Ideal for daytime medicating, Shipwreck is favored for its mouth-watering flavors of citrus, spice, sour and dank. The buds of this strain are dark-green with visible slivers of purple when a nug is broken open. Long, light-orange pistils seem to reach for the heavens out of a dense forest of frosty green flowers.
This plant is favored by growers of all skill types. Naturally resistant to the elements, most diseases and easy to clone, Shipwreck makes a fabulous addition to any garden. While she is somewhat slow to vegetate, her flowering period is remarkably short. She only likes to be grown in an indoor environment when that climate is 5 to 7 degrees cooler than normal. When grown outdoors, the buds of this plant swell to nearly twice their size in the final weeks of maturity. Many growers make hash out of the trimmings of this bud due to the relatively high leaf-to-calyx ratio.

Grown it indoor. Fast Sativa, It flowered as fast as the Bubba. The yield left something to be desired but I haven't had the time with this lady as some others. Did about 455g under a 1000 watt. I'll get 1.8 on Bubba and 1.3 on OG.

I love this strain because it has a great taste and does work great for medicating during the day due to the fact that it won't put you to sleep.

The orange hairs are so thick on this that you will become mesmerized in just looking at it. For a sativa it is potent and will be worth your investigation, you will sit back and relax the day away.

This strain is relaxing and very helpful with anxiety. It has a sweet smell, lots of crystals which make the buds super sticky and it burns really smooth. The high lasts for a few hours and even though it is a relaxing strain, it didn’t make me tired and I was still able to get stuff done. I mostly smoke this strain during the daytime.

Shipwreck is a solid strain that is, if nothing else, beautiful to gawk at. The look is very appealing and each noticeably dense bud is white washed with crystals. The smell is very piney but sweet at the same time.
The actual smoke is very rich and fulfilling with a solid Earthy and sour taste. It doesn't take you to the point of no return but a solid body high nonetheless. Overall, it's just a extremely serviceable strain that is mellow and smooth to medicate with over and over again.
